The first win for Connacht in any match was against Munster in Limerick on Thursday March 2nd 1905, the visitors winning 3-5 with a try (E Walsh) and conversion (B Dick) to a try by McGill for Munster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

February 1945 was the first time that Connacht managed to garner their first victory over Leinster, 3-0, with Bernie Egan(Galwegians) kicking the winning penalty, since 1907.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
